Hotel Del Luna follows Jang Man-Wol (IU), a beautiful but unpredictable CEO of a mysterious hotel located in downtown Seoul. The hotel appears old and worn down, and Man-Wol has been stuck there for many years because of a mistake she made in the past. She is greedy, suspicious, and often difficult to deal with.

Koo Chan-Sung (Yeo Jin-Goo) is a young, talented assistant manager at a top hotel chain. He is a perfectionist who seems serious but is actually kind-hearted. Due to an unexpected turn of events, Chan-Sung ends up working as the manager at Hotel del Luna. What makes the hotel unique is that its guests are not alive, but ghosts who need help moving on to the afterlife.

As Chan-Sung starts working at the hotel, he and Man-Wol develop a complex relationship while dealing with the hotel’s supernatural guests and their own personal struggles.
