The Heirs tells the story of Kim Tan (Lee Min-Ho), a wealthy heir to a big company, and Cha Eun-Sang (Park Shin-Hye), a girl from a poor family. Eun-Sang lives with her mute mother, who works as a housekeeper, while Eun-Sang helps by working part-time jobs. She dreams of a better life and decides to visit her older sister in the U.S. when her sister calls to say she’s getting married.
